The Henry Sherburne House is a historic property located at 62 Deer Street in downtown Portsmouth, New Hampshire and a part of a cluster of houses in the area known as "The Hill." This four-level, wood frame, high-style Georgian home was built circa 1725, and is an unusually large house for this part of Portsmouth in the late Georgian period. The distinctive front doorway is reportedly the only known original scrolled pediment doorway to survive from the period in the entire state. Much of the original architecture and decorative features have been restored to its early 1800's interpretation and brought together with modern, updated amenities. Currently utilized as a corporate office, this property could easily transition into a six-bedroom, three-plus bathroom, single-family residence with gated parking, or another compatible use in the City's Central Business District.
