Historic 1784 home of Captain Thomas Thompson, one of the first naval officers commissioned by the Continental Congress. Capt. Thompson commanded the Frigate USS Raleigh, which was built on BadgerÃ¢s Island in 1776. The USS Raleigh is depicted on the NH State Seal.
